Individual lecturers can start free — no card required. Institution-wide plans are available for universities, polytechnics and colleges of education that need department structures, bulk onboarding and administrative reporting.
No. Every lecturer has an isolated academic workspace. Isolation is enforced at the backend and database authorisation level — not by hiding things in the interface. Sharing only becomes possible through a future institution or department sharing model that is explicitly authorised.
No. Your dashboard holds one safe current academic context. Change the session or semester once, and every academic page — attendance, CBT, scores, results, reports — automatically operates inside it. An override is still available for administrative operations.
They stay exactly where they are — permanently linked to the First Semester of that session. Attendance, scores and results are never copied forward. Only things like courses, course materials, outlines, student lists and assessment templates can be carried forward, and you choose which.
Yes. You can create future academic sessions and their semesters ahead of time. Sessions move through statuses such as Draft, Upcoming, Active, Closed and Archived, and the system prevents invalid state combinations.
Yes. Jop Scholar is fully responsive and works on phones, tablets and computers. Students can register courses, download materials, sit CBT exams and check results from any device with a browser — no app installation required.
